Personal Injury - Tripped or Fall
If you have suffered a trip or fall on a public
highway within the last 3 years resulting in injuries being sustained,
you may have a claim.
The following criteria are important to have
a successful claim:-
- The area in which your trip or fall occurred must have a genuine
defect, and clearly not have been maintained correctly by the
local authority or owners of the property.
- If you have fallen over a kerb or paving slab, they must be
raised a minimum of 1 inch above the level of the other kerbstones.
- You must take pictures of the area in which the incident occurred
immediately before it is repaired, from all angles, showing dimensions
and measurements.
- Statements from local residents confirming that the area is
in a state of disrepair and for what period of time the area has
been in that state.
We will allocate your claim to one of our Solicitors
for future conduct of your case who will continue to deal with the
claim on a no-win, no-fee basis. We will of course advise you of
the nominated Solicitor and although you are free to instruct any
Solicitor, we would advise the use of one of our Solicitors as this
will enable us to keep control over your claim.
